Our client is seeking a Webmaster & Digital Evolutionary role in Singapore to build and maintain websites and prepare us for the future. This is an exciting role for a passionate and early career technologist with a can-do attitude. Webmaster & Digital Evolutionary --------------------------------------- The Role: This position fulfills two roles Webmaster – this is approximately 80% of the position IT / Technical Support – this is approximately 20% of the position Webmaster --------------- • Work with key stakeholder to determine the needs for a specific website, elaborate the content and define the organization of a website • Create, maintain and optimize utilization and performance of client websites (including: Internets, social media tools, etc.) • Ensure appropriate testing is being done prior to launching new or improved websites to fix issues before a site is available to its intended audience; troubleshoot the site and debug Issues that arise with the performance of the website quickly and effectively • Review web content periodically to ensure it is always relevant, and that all functions of the website work appropriately • Plan for future changes to the website • Collaborate with designers, writers and other technical specialists • Optimize on-site content creation for maximum visibility and ranking in the major search engines; this includes HTML, site structure, as well as page layout and navigation consideration • Control naming conventions and linking conventions of web pages, images, and multimedia files • Perform information gathering services including technical website analysis, competitive/keyword research, and link analysis • Perform content maintenance and updates; maintain CMS infrastructure • Develop site features/functionality • Create banners and online advertising campaigns • Monitor and report on monthly campaigns and statistical analysis • Test and track landing page optimization and other conversation strategies • Develop design briefs by gathering information and data through research; utilize this to recommend new and modified designs • Think creatively to produce new ideas and design concepts • Perform maintenance and updates (including site features and functionality) to existing websites IT / Technical Support ---------------------------- As our business is relatively small, the person in this role will provide IT/Technical support to our team in Singapore and elsewhere. Responsibilities include: • Manage and maintain existing Organization Solutions’ IT Infrastructure – including network functionality, server backup, housekeeping, technical support and migration to Cloud • Determine and recommend hardware, software to meet growing business requirements • Maintain IT vendor contracts and relationships • Update and change equipment and software as needed (PCs, WIFI, firewall, etc.) Job Requirements: --------------------- Desired Background • Diploma or Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Digital Communications or related field from an accredited polytechnic, college or University • 3- 5 years of relevant work experience • Experience using graphics and web development tools include Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Photo Shop, Quark Express, Freehand, 3D Studio, Acrobat, Director, Flash • Solid understanding and working knowledge of HTML, IIS, CSS (CSS-P and CSS 2.0), ColdFusion, .NET (ASP, VB, etc), C# on MySQL, Ajax/Flex/JavaScript, JSP, MySQL on Red Hat Linux, including a proven development methodology Knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking strategies • Knowledge of best practice for organic search engine optimization including knowledge of search engine spiders and search engine ranking factors Skills & Abilities • Excellent interpersonal skills including strong verbal, listening and written communication • Self-motivated; can handle multiple, ongoing projects in a fast paced team environment • Ability to produce highly impressive creative design in a timely manner • Ability to work independently on projects and also collaborate as a strong team members • Excellent attention to detail, flexible and adaptable to changes • Ability to operate under pressure and meet or exceed deadlines Excellent project management skills This is a full-time position, available immediately.
