Our client was facing abuse and neglect allegations from DYFS because his child was found with serious burns. Complicating this matter is that experts cannot time burns with any specificity. Nevertheless, we fought hard over the last few months and were fully prepared to win the trial next week. We just received word that all abuse and neglect charges against our client will be dismissed. Earlier this week, Jef helped a father retain custody of his two children and in yet another case, Jef was able to get a child out of foster care and placed with the clients parents.
