Our electral process needs revamp.We have seen very often a handful of people under the cover of minority tag calling shots Some one getting more than 50% of polled vote only should be declared elected.This will to an extent keep off cast , communal & criminal elements from sanctm sactorum of democracy. We could also introduce preferential votes. If no one getting more than 50% vote in the first count or with second preferential vote then that constituency should go for re election with elemination process. Those candidates got less tha ay 20% vote to be eliminated in re election. The present system make mockery of democracy. The country must have a strong govt at entre with comfortable majority in house. Let lt be BJP or Congress or ay party. BUT not an amalgamation of fringe regional communal cast or criminal lobbies
