Our family has been going through some difficult days. Walter was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer on September 2nd. It has spread to his bones and lymphatic system. We have been spending much time at the James Cancer Center. Last week, Walters vision changed drastically. Yesterday, the oncologist scheduled him for an MRI(we were in the ER the entire night). There were no beds available for him until this afternoon. The MRI results were rather scary-he has a mass on the side of his brain. When the doctor told us there was a mass, we were devastated. However, today, the neuro ophthalmologist team told him that it doesnt appear to be cancer. They are going to run more tests hoping to get some answers. It could be some kind of inflammation or he could have had a stroke(there are no indications of that however). Many friends and relatives have been praying for us and we are very appreciative. God can still perform miracles!
