Our family has made a decision about the configuration of Sister Wolf and Beagle. We’ve decided to consolidate the two stores in the Park Rapids location. There are several reasons for this. Bob will retire in May and while I won’t be retiring, I’d like to work less than the 70+ hours a week I’ve been doing for several years. We always thought that our daughter, Jen, would someday run both stores, but we’ve come to realize how unrealistic that is. So, we’ll go to one location and concentrate on being a fabulous bookstore there while building up the bindery business. While the heart of Sister Wolf will always be in Dorset, we are looking forward to the future. We’re open to suggestions for a new name which incorporates both identities!
