Our family helped sandy Templin and her girls Angie and Holley celebrate her husband and their father today along with his grand kids and great grand kids. The Templin/bailey family were reminded of what a special lady our Mamaw Templin was. John was raised with all his brothers and sisters in a time that was tough. But those kids all became good people. John was remembered with Bill Parvin a high school friend talking about him. Great stories. Then George Kid a guy he worked with for 20 years spoke. Wonderful tribute. Then josh mounger a friend from McKinney from their high school years spoke. Told us about being 16 years old and he had gotten a train when he was 12. John told him he had never gotten toys like that because there were so many of them and there was no money for toys. He said him and John played with that train set for hours at 16 years old. John loved it. I want to thank all my cousins for coming through and bringing all the cookies and cupcakes. I appreciate you all. And a special thank you to my cousin joy griffin for helping to the end. Thanks also to joy and Bo her husband for making the video. Itis great being a part of such A big loving family.
