Our family made a donation to the ALS Association and took the Ice Bucket Challenge. I was challenged by a dear friend Sarah Rosenzweig who has this devastating disease. We grew up together, went to school together, and participated in Girl Scouts together. We gave in Honor of Sarah and in Memory of Mrs. Arah Rush. (Sherry Dunn Rush, Ashley McCarty Paige Rush Wolf) She was the grandmother of my childhood best friend and a great teacher at Trout Elementary. This dreadful disease took her life years ago. We pray that one day there will be a cure! With your help by spreading awareness or making a small or large monetary donation, there will be a cure one day! I challenge our Girl Scout Troop 9108 from way back when….and I cant remember who all was in while Sarah was a part of our troop, so Ill challenge all the members/leaders. Ashley McCarty, Heather Griffith Hammonds, Shannon Torres, natalie carroll, Alexis Rimes, Brooke Lane Cooley, Jennie Freeman, Karolyn Jones, and Connie Griffith. I also want to challenge some teacher who were at Trout School and taught with Mrs. Rush. Terri Thigpen, Carol Frazier Riley, Susan Hicks Spencer Kendall was challenged by her friend, Jadyn, and decided to challenge her friends Will Simpson (Elizabeth Maxwell Simpson), Alyx Flournoy (Lisa Grissett Flournoy) and Hannah Shaw (Jennifer Shaw)
