Our friend, Jon Paul Combs posted, I am glad someone asked the food bowel thing. We have a rescue Koda that has been with us for ALMOST a year. He never had food bowel aggression and in the last week, he has been showing it which kinda took my wife and I by surprise. She feeds them every morning like clockwork and then every night. Koda is on a special diet to help him gain some weight back as well as our other husky. We feed our older female in a seperate room. If either of the other dogs go near his dish by walking by or even to get water he lunges and snarles. He does this with treats also..even if HE drops the treats and walks away. Any one else interested he comes running back and snarles and lunges. We have to discipline him for it but it has us confused on this... it has taken us this whole year to build his confidence up and trust. He came to us through a rescue and before that he was left behind when a house for foreclosed on. We are trying to work on one issue at a time and for the time it was seperate anxiety and he is getting better so that my wife can leave the room and he does not go beserk..but now this has started and we are not sure how to handle this and the seperatiion anxiety or if we should work both at the same time or what??
