Our gig at The Schnitzel Haus was such a big hit on so many levels for the band, and me in particular. So many of our friends and fellow musicians came and shared the stage with us and supported both us and the Schnitzel House. It was a birthday bash for Gerry,also, his 50th year of playing in bars, Kens welcome to Bay Ridge, Robs first band he can call his own, Stephanies introduction to Bay Ridge and her breaking into the ranks of the hot, female vocalist club. But for me, there were so many levels of satisfaction. It has taken me 10 months to get back in the saddle with my own band. It was my retirement party I never got to have. My wedding party, I never got to have, and my ability to dedicate a night of music to my Mom who I lost in July. A lot of heavy shit to absurb.And also, an unexpected conversation that took a load off my shoulders, and closed the door to a very bad time and experience. Now, its just all moving forward and enjoying this ride! Thanks everyone for being part of it!
