Our good friend Barbara Wood passed away early Friday morning. Barbara was a faithful member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, and a great supporter of Emmaus. Barbara went on Alabama Walk #39 nearly thirty years ago, and served on several teams in that community. She and her late husband Woody were dedicated pioneers in getting the New Covenant Emmaus Community started, and she served on many of the early walks, both in the conference room and on support committees. The funeral arrangements will be sometime next week, and are being handled by Madison Chapel. Well pass them along as soon as we find out.
