Our good friends left early in the morning with a heavy heart because they had to say goodbye to all our dogs and because the kennels are not finished. But there was no way they could have done more: time was short and money also. But they did a wonderful job that we will finish so we can make room for the dogs that have to get safe in the shelter, including Pizza that otherwise will keep on waiting for them in the taxi station or at the hotel. I guess they now know very well what dog rescue in Romania means, how much time consuming, hard work and emotional involvement the shelter takes. They are now truly part of our team! We really appreciate all they did to help: the collection of the huge amount of donations, organizing and paying for the transport, coming to Dej ( twice in one month) and getting fully involved in our daily activity. We really hope they can share their experience with as many as possible and so we get to do more for our dogs together. Thank you for everythig, Sarah-Joyce Dembeck, Claudia Dembeck, Markus!
