Our hearts are broken tonight. We took our sweet Sadie girl to the vet this afternoon thinking shed injured a tendon/ligament (something serious, but fixable) because shes been limping occasionally. Instead of bringing her home, we held her until her beautiful soul left her body. Our sweet girl had an aggressive bone cancer that was going to painfully take her life in a very short period of time regardless of possible treatments, we searched our hearts & we chose to let her go. Jay & I havent stopped crying. It doesnt feel like we ever will. But we at least have the blessing of having Sadie as our fur-daughter for 9 years & the comfort of knowing that she knew how very much we love her......
