Our horse Buddy had an abscess on his foot and then he got sick. He lost a lot of weight and got depressed (yes animals can get depressed). We brought him home to his own pasture with lots of grass and the company of the other horses that live on our farm. When we got him home his head went up and his ears stood up. He has been back now for 2 days and if a horse can look happy this one does. When he sees us he neighs at us and comes looking for food. We need to get some weight on him now but the limp is almost gone and he is doing better. We are very happy! Riding lessons will resume for me!
