Our house in Dubai is located in the Arabian Ranches. A solitary tiny bird flies in in the mornings and perches itself atop a flimsy bush on the periphery of the Ranches Golf Course in Dubai, where the boundary wall of our house stands. It starts tweeting as more of the commune join in. This is no random tweet. I’m inclined to believe that they are in conversation, because the tweets are not uniform – they vary in tune, pitch and period. To my ears, however, they are like music. Wish I could post them on Twitter. Yet another tweeter - this one with a trendy hairdo - sometimes follows suit. It, too, delights with melodious notes. The fragile bush in the Ranches becomes home to some well-orchestrated concert. I call it Akai Bush. I have also named the tiny bird Jubin and the one with the modish hairdo Mitha. Jubin- Mitha’s concerts are a source of divine joy.
