What we are asked to do is to love, and this love itself will render both ourselves and our neighbors worthy.” – Thomas Merton I had the best time yesterday scrolling through a blog – “tenthousandangels” on tumblr! I discovered some really amazing quotes, including this one! This particular quote was like a personal message from God direct to me! In my life right now, I’m finding it’s a challenge to love those difficult people! God’s saying to me here that it’s not my job to question whether these people are deserving of my love or not, my job is just to love them! Ok, Boss, message received! “I’m learning to enjoy all life’s moments, continuously reminded… WE GO WITH GOD!” was the ending of yesterday’s post! The continuously reminded part came about when I thought of all my God winks (what some may call coincidences) of God just letting me know He’s with me throughout the day! Yesterday, I caught myself saying to God, “Hey, I haven’t gotten any God winks lately!’ - We’re cool like that! Never One to disappoint, the winks began! I wrote that post wanting to tell you guys about lots of hugs and kisses I got from someone, the day before yesterday, but changed my mind and deleted the entire sentence, even after debating whether to write “hugs” or “kisses” first! About an hour and a half later, after writing that post and deleting that comment, I got an email from someone who ended the email with, “Lots of kisses and hugs”! This was a sweet God wink for both of us! Then I wrote a comment to my terrific nephew, Justin, saying, “You rock!” and then shortly after I joined my hubby in watching a Nigerian movie, even though I hate watching them, and one of the characters kisses another character screaming, “You rock!” Call them coincidences if you like, but they’re my special messages from God, our constant Companion!
