Our last farm dinner of the season is this Saturday, September 14th! The menu is listed below showcasing all local fruits, vegetables, and hickory syrup! Music will be provided by, "Local Flavor", from Clarke County as well! We have 5 spots left so if you are interested register today! APPETIZERS: Pepper Poppers (Jalapeno or Sweet) Cornbread Bites topped with Oak Hart Farm Peach Jam FIRST COURSE - Choose one Chuck wagon Garden Salad Farm fresh farm salad greens, hard boiled eggs, and crumbled cheddar are topped with our farm made herbed buttermilk ranch dressing. Grilled Corn and Black Bean Salad A delicious dish made with freshly harvested corn that has been caramelized over the grill. The combination of black beans, and vine ripened vegetables make this salad a sure favorite! Tossed in simple hickory syrup and basil vinaigrette dressing. ENTREES Cowboy Steak Kabobs A skewer of marinated steak, potatoes, onions, and sweet peppers are a perfect sampling of traditional chuck wagon fare! Roast Pork Loin with Cider Demi-glace and Apple Horseradish Cream This roast is reminiscence of the fabulous flavors that were so popular on the trails. The pork is brined in hickory syrup, and apple cider. The cream compliments it nicely for those of you that prefer a little kick. SIDES Grilled Corn on the Cob Herb - Roasted Sweet Potatoes Cowboy Beans served with OHF Jalapeno Jelly Marinated Squash and Zucchini Medley DESSERT Harvest Cake with Cider-Cinnamon Frosting A wonderful blend of vegetables and spices, and a hint of brown sugar make this cake a farm favorite! Peach Cobbler topped with a Pecan Oat Crumble Our old-fashioned peach cobbler will be topped with our homemade vanilla whipped cream.
