Our liberties are safe until the memories and experiences of the past are blotted out and the Mayflower with its band of Pilgrims forgotten; until our public school system has fallen into decay and the Nation into ignorance; until legislators have resigned their functions to ecclesiastical powers and their prerogatives to priests. - Woodrow Wilson Wilson did much to destroy Freedom in America, but his rhetoric is sound. We must remember our heritage and our history. We must look to the past and rediscover the glorious principles and values that our Founders articulated. We must remember who we are and where we came from in order to know where were going.
