Our little protest at one of Hong Kongs remaining ivory retailers was eventful. When Chinese Goods Ctr. Ltd. opened in the morning, they had plenty of elephant ivory in their showcase windows. At 10:30am a shop keeper was busy removing this as were sure they were tipped off. When we arrived only mammoth was left. At one point, we went into the shop to seek their manager and deliver some ivory related data. It was then that we noticed their ivory sales license didnt disclose full details. Details such as origin and weight were crossed out with White out. A reporter photographing this was manhandled by one of the shop keepers and had bruises to show the police that arrived.
