Our lovely and spirited miss Jolie, one of our 30 Dogs in 30 Days - TopicsExpress

Our lovely and spirited miss Jolie, one of our 30 Dogs in 30 Days (petcaring/MarchMadness), would like to introduce herself to you... Hi, Im Jolie. Im told that Im incredibly sweet and petite and Im super happy to be back in a home and away from that busy shelter. Im now in the market for just the right forever home. I get along well with others though I believe in standing up for myself if need be. Im good on a leash and I have plenty of energy and occasionally try and get ahead of the pace but I try and temper my enthusiasm most of the time. Im well mannered in the car and around the house and its great here but Im really am looking for a place and a new family to call my own. Oh, and I do enjoy lap sitting, sleeping in your bed at night, and I was born for tummy rubs! Foster notes: She really is super and quite a gorgeous little girl. She weighs about 20 and is more red than blonde. She appears to be housebroken though she did potty inside once right after we got here. Ill chalk that up to the stress of the week. Theres a clipped spot on her left thigh where they were looking for a scar since someone called and thought she might be their dog from quite a while back. She wasnt the dog they were looking for but now we probably need to get her coat evened out a bit. She has a little tousled mess look going anyway. I can see if I can even her out some or take her to someone else to get her spiffed up a bit. She is going to clean up so pretty. I suspect she wont be around to long. [I dont know whether to insert a sad or happy face here.] :( / :) Ive only had Jolie four days, but I think an ideal home for her would be a couple where the children, if any, were old enough to be respectful of her space since shes a little petite for roughhousing and where someone might be around most of the time to show her how much shes appreciated. I certainly would not rule out a single dad. I am a member of that demographic myself and we can be totally amazing. :) Shes gonna make someone a great little family dog for the next 10 or 12 years, whatever that family may look like. At least thats what Im hoping. geo...
