Our nearest planetary neighbor Mars has been the focus of countless scientific and popular culture theories for literally centuries, if not millennia. Almost 40 years ago the scientists on Earth came across something they were not really expecting in their close up analysis of Mars. The story behind modern man’s clinging to the orthodox story line of their own academic house is no better demonstrated than on this topic. PARTI - touches on the history and origin of Mars. Specific focus is on the exploded planet hypothesis by Dr. Tom Van Flandern and “When the Earth Nearly Died” by D.S. Allan and J.B. Delair. PARTII - discusses the Cydonia cover-up.
