Our neighbor, Shirley, who we call Mamaw has been like a grandma to the boys since we moved here right after Gid turned three. Last week she had surgery on her knee and was doing well. Then suddenly this weekend shes experiencing severe dementia, not even recognizing her daughter. Gids been especially close to her and is taking it hard. Please remember Mamaw, her daughter, her son-in-law, and the rest of her family.
