Our present bodies cannot contain the joy God has in store for people who love Him today! For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. Romans 11:29 NKJV God created us in His image and likeness. He created us to be like Him in some ways. That does not mean we can understand the mind of God. His ways are infinitely higher than ours! The children of Israel were blinded in part to the gospel. They are blinded in part for our sake until the fullness of the gentiles has come in. Concerning the gospel they are enemies for our sake, but concerning the election they are beloved for the sake of the fathers. The Jewish people rejected the gospel. Their rejection of the gospel is a part of God’s plan. God will eventually bring the Nation of Israel to salvation. Why would God want them to reject the gospel? Why would God save them if they rejected the gospel? We have all rejected the gospel at some time. We were all blinded to the gospel. We have all disobeyed God at one time or another. God will show mercy to whom He will show mercy. God will do what He wants to do with or without us understanding what He is doing and why He is doing it. That is the key that unlocks the mysterious things of God. He is God. He can do whatever He wants. If God chooses to do something it is just. If He chooses to do something it is the correct thing to do. If God chooses to do something no one can oppose Him today! You and I make mistakes all the time. We fail, sin, stumble and fall. God is able to carry out His good and perfect plan for our lives even though we make mistakes. God has a plan for our lives today. God did not save you so He could put another notch on His belt. He did not save you because there was an empty page in the book of life that needed to be filled. God saved you from death and damnation for eternal life with Him. In His presence our joy will be complete and unending. We will need new bodies because our present bodies cannot contain the joy God has in store for people who choose to love Him today! When God uses you to share the gospel with someone or pray for someone who is healed do you take the credit for it? Of course not, you can’t save or heal anyone. It is God using you to accomplish His will. The gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. This is a verse of scripture many of us may not be comfortable with. We want to give ourselves a pat on the back when God works in our lives. We want to disqualify other people from serving God when they don’t live up to our expectations and standards. This message is not an excuse for sin. I am not saying you should live like the devil Monday through Saturday and act like a saint on Sunday. If you trust God with your life, your future and your ministry He will accomplish all that has already determined to do in your life. If you have stumbled and fallen in your walk with the Lord get back up and follow Him today. If you have turned your back on the Lord turn back to Him today. Trust Him to put you back on the path He has already chosen for you. God is able to bring you back into His perfect will today! Trust God with your life today. Trust Him with your ministry today.
