Our schedule for today is full of celebrations from going to a quincenera, which we can only go to part of, and then heading to a wedding. And then I think of heaven, which I do all the time. Heaven celebrated a young man finally coming home after a brief but hard fight with cancer. It could have ended in such a horrible way but his mom, Christie Jenkins-Kirchenbauer, had sent me a message telling me he had accepted Jesus as his savior briefly before entering his eternal home. And while heaven is rejoicing, a mother is left with a gigantic hole in her heart and crying her eyes out. A parent isnt supposed to bury their child. Its an inconceivable pain til you walk in those shoes. But because of Christ, there is a hope that is beyond all compare. Because of Him, this pain will cease one day. We will see our sons, alive and well again! It can not happen soon enough!
