UPCOMING ROADWAY OPENINGS AND TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS ON THE CIRCLE DRIVE SOUTH PROJECT As work continues on the Circle Drive South Project, there will be various roadway openings and restrictions in the coming week (these openings/closures are subject to change and weather permitting): Idylwyd Drive/New Idylwyld Overpass: The Idylwyld Drive northbound lanes will open on Friday, July 19. This means northbound traffic will be able to travel under the new Idylwyld Drive overpass instead of around it. On Monday July 22, the new northbound off-ramp will temporarily close. This closure will be in effect until Tuesday, July 30. · The Circle Drive westbound median (centre) lane under the Clarence Avenue overpass will be temporarily closed for the installation of a guardrail. Clancy Drive: On Friday July 26, the Clancy Drive merge lane will open, which means traffic exiting from Clancy Drive will be able to make left and right hand turns onto Circle Drive. On Wednesday, July 31, the off-ramp south from Circle Drive southbound to 11th Street West will open.
