If there’s one thing the Washington Establishment wants to get rid of more than Sen. Ted Cruz, it’s got to be Benghazi. But Benghazi – even after the truth is finally exposed -- will never go away, ever. Of course, we “Remember Benghazi” for the four Americans -- our men -- who made the ultimate sacrifice. But sadly and most grotesquely, we will never forget Benghazi for how the Commander-in-Chief shattered what is perhaps the most honorable creed of any American soldier: “I will never leave a fallen comrade.” Not only did Obama abandon our men to slaughter at the hands of bloodthirsty terorists, but Obama and Eric Holder refuse to even hunt down their killers. It’s a disgrace of the highest order. It’s one more reason why Speaker John Boehner must immediately appoint a “Watergate-style” House Select Committee to expose the truth about Benghazi. Revive America has fought for months on Capitol Hill. Weve delivered millions of phone calls and letters to Congress, and held dozens of one-on-one meetings with Members of Congress. Its had a huge impact, as weve helped to whip 177 cosponsors for the appointment of a Watergate-style committee on Benghazi. But theres more work to be done. Dont you think its time for Congress to start dropping subpoenas on Obama, Clinton, Rice, and the rest of these fork-tongued liars? Help Us Continue this Fight on Capitol Hill for a Special Benghazi Committee. Sen. Ted Cruz, for his part, has introduced legislation to provide a $5 million reward for information leading to the capture of the 9/11 Benghazi terror suspects. The State Departments Rewards for Justice Program exists to help the U.S. identify and apprehend its enemies, but the Obama administration has not used it to pursue the terrorists who attacked our personnel in Benghazi, Cruz said in a written statement. This legislation enables the Secretary of State to offer a substantial reward for information leading to the apprehension and prosecution of the suspects who have been identified. This is nice, but frankly, an unshackled special ops team could do the job for much less, and likely just a thank you. Of course, the ungrateful Obama won’t allow it, lest we offend his beloved Muslim Bros, or even worse, stumble upon the truth. But we dont need Obama and his incompetent collection of know-nothing henchmen to act. In fact, we hold all of the cards. Speaker Boehner ALONE can appoint today a Watergate-style committee to expose the truth about Benghazi, and theres not a damn thing Obama can do about it. As they say in Libya, Pakistan, and Egypt, Go Pound Sand, Obama! Moreover, 177 House Republicans are cosponsors of the House Select Committee, including many moderate to liberal Republicans. Clearly, Speaker Boehner has had a tough couple of months in Washington, and no doubt, Revive Americas 250,000 members have caused much of that pain. He appears to have survived. But if I may offer to Mr. Boehner some unsolicited and free political advice, for what its worth. Theres no greater single action Speaker John Boehner could take to unify the GOP conference and to fire-up the conservative grassroots than to immediately appoint a House Select Committee on Benghazi. Just do it, Mr. Speaker.
