Our son in law called us about noon today to tell us that Michelle was in the trauma unit at Hermann after being involved in a car accident on Westheimer. After a very long day of MRIs, cat scans, x-rays and tests beyond my comprehension we received the best possible news. She has a severe neck and spine strain but nothing is broken that will not heal. She is in a lot of pain and having back spasms. Thank you God for heavy cars, air bags that work, and guardian angels that ride shot gun. Of course, it did not hurt that she was in the capable hands of the people she works with every day and even Dr. Duke came to ensure she was given high priority. After looking at the car, we are even more convinced she had someone watching over her today. She cannot work for two weeks which will be difficult for her. Will post a pic of the car if I can.....having internet problems and this may post twice so sorry if it does....has been a very long day.
