Our song George Jones. On one of my occasional visits to see Doug after Grandma Jones died, he was listening to some old music and, if I remember correctly, playing his guitar. He played this song, said he wanted me to hear the words. He said it was one of his favorites. Over the years I never forgot it. Several years ago I was finally able to find this on YouTube. I was so excited and shared it. I think it was around the time he was getting familiar with the computer in the hospital bed. I forget what his comment was, but he was thrilled that I still remembered and shared it with him.
