Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the severe weather in the Midwest today. Several communities where we have both facilities and employees have been impacted. Caterpillars facilities in Illinois and Indiana that were in the path of the storms were not damaged, and employees working at the time were able to seek shelter and were uninjured. At this time, facilities in the impacted areas will be open tomorrow. The Peoria-area Salvation Army and the Central Illinois Chapter of the Red Cross are on the scene of the hardest hit areas. During the immediate recovery effort, anyone who needs support or is interested in providing support should work directly with those organizations. The Caterpillar Foundation will also be providing assistance.
