Our topic today is how to behave at a funeral. Behavior at a funeral is pretty much the same as what a behavior would be at a church service. It is supposed to be a ceremonial time. It is usually a quiet time but the main thing is that you have attended this funeral service and showed your respect for the deceased and your support for the family. Behavior basically is just being there, being attentive, and listening to what is going on. In todays society, funerals are becoming somewhat less religious or more memorialization of the life lived of the deceased. So many times it will include individuals getting up and telling stories or tales or things that they remembered about the deceased which might mean that it is much comical or much laughter during the funeral service but the main thing is that you attend and that you show your support. The dress or the attire many times individuals will come dressed to the funeral as if they were dressed going to church which means as I grew up wearing your Sunday best but in todays society someones Sunday best or what they would wear to church would just be casual clothes but they are dress casual clothes so attendance at the funeral is the main thing, showing the support for the family and respect to the deceased and the part about behavior is just a matter of being there and being supportive and setting there during the service like you would at a church service or at your Sunday service or at a funeral service.
