Our tortoise enclosure has been expanded.. There is a gate from the old one that leads into the new one.. It stays open and they can go back and forth as they please.. Their old enclosure has their building filled with fresh hay where they put themselves to bed every night.. They have recently dug this burrow big enough for three of them to go in.. Tonight 4 went to bed in their building while 2 stayed in the burrow.. They come out during the day but I worry the one farthest in the burrow might get trapped inside by the other ones until they decide to come out.. My question is should we let them dig their burrow or cover it up?
