Our upbringing is considered more cultured when we treat our senior citizens with respect and care. A society devoid of blessings from its elders surely runs down the drain in absence of giving our future generation the opportunity to grow up with being taught the required moral values and knowledge of our cultures. Our youngsters need to know early what ageing is like and its the lucky few who reach that part of their life. It is our moral duty to thank our elders every now and then and add sense of dignity into their lives. Our thanking gesture could add huge energy into their weakening bones. A blessing from them could lead us to unbelievably new highs. This endeavor of ours could earn us loads of love and respect in their eyes and ultimately from those of the society. I bow down in complete humility to each and every dear and respected friend, brother and sister who has at some time or the other left a lasting influence in my life.
