AAP Maharashtra had organised Chintan Shivirs in Mumbai Thane and Pune on the 1st June 2014. This was an opportunity to introspect and understand where we have gone wrong as well as plan on how to take the Party forward. While the exercise was a welcome change in the Party where the communication between the Volunteers and the Leadership had virtually broken down in the run up to the LS Polls, it was unfortunate that few of the district conveners as well as some candidates chose to keep away The Candidates from Bhiwandi and Palghar, Meera Sanyal from South Mumbai and Mayank Gandhi from Mumbai North West were the prominent absentees. Mayank Gandhi s absence should not and will not be misconstrued as unwillingness to face the Party Volunteers But the same cannot be said about the other Three absentees who were Paradropped into the electoral Foray . Is this the level of commitment and connect that these LS Candidates have with the volunteers who worked tirelessly for them in the Elections? They owe all the Volunteers not only an Explanation but also an Apology. More so Meera Sanyal as rumours are that she is being taken into the National Executive
