Out w the old, in w the new. Just replaced my power pole w a new Minn Kota Talon 10 model. I loved my power poles and they were first to market but I really wanted to free up my aft starboard storage box from the pump, remote, and reversing relay, hydraulic hoses, and numerous wires associated with it. Only time will tell if the Talon will hold up like my power poles have. I got help from my wife and three year old daughter today uninstalling my old power pole and installing my Talon. I had a bum shoulder so my wife carried the Talon down two flights of stairs as my 3 yr old proceeded to call her big time and almost making her fall as she was laughing so hard. Took an hour to uninstall the pp and only 15 minutes to install the Talon. I mounted it directly to my old pp bracket, then ran the power wire to my electrical bus in my aft compartment and I was done. Now I am going to replace my Bobs jack plate w a new Atlas plate to completely free up my storage box.
