Outdoor time and nature is not only good for our childrens physical health but for their mental wellness as well. Take some time this week-end and plan a family hike or beach exploration! My daughters love it when we bring a plant identification guide on our hikes and they can learn the names of our local vegetation. Being able to name the west coast plants and flowers provides them with a greater sense of connection. - Dr. Montroy
