Outlaw writer Michael Palmer spells it out for those too blind to see... Her Scars... The scars on her body read like braille on her soul. Whether made by others or self inflicted, they tell the story that no one wants to know, or rather no one cares to hear. As a society, not only did we turn a blind eye on the things that were done to her, but we looked down on her with our sight given eye, because she was different from other kids. Society has cast her out and given their labels for her to wear, whore, trash, freak, and then they get mad when she wears them like badges of honor, because that is all she has. Youre shocked and appalled when the massacres, like Columbine happen yet youre the ones who caused them, by not teaching your children to accept diversity. If we had hugged her as a child and listened to her as a teen, then maybe things would be different now. It was too easy for you to chastise, instead of offering kind words. But, what you forget, is that she is a survivor. She has went through the beatings, the molestation, the rapes and has her battle wounds to show. She has faced and conquered what you could not imagine, before she was in high school. Take heed, you Mary Kay mothers with your pageant princess daughters, living in your ivory towers. The little girl born white and labeled trash is grown up and ready to shit in your punchbowl!
