Over 2 years ago Frontman of Slipknot, Corey Taylor, released a video of him wanting to Tour with not just Mushroomhead but also GWAR and Mudvayne. A few days later in a forum named Thirteam, the once official forums of Mushroomhead, Nick Smith decided to make a facebook group with the mission to get as many members as possible so to push this tour forward. The response was almost instant! Jeffery Hatrix of Mushroom signed on within the week. Revolver Magazine posted an ad for the group in their Holloween issue. Cid of Slipknot preformed with St1tch from Mushroomhead. Members just kept pouring in. Also Dave Brockie supported this group after Jeff told him about us! We have been through hard times also. We had a long slow period, Slipknot went on hiatus, Mudvayne all but disbanded. As well as a few scrubbed contest, trolls, and issues with past admins. Still we are pushing strong and making waves. Now, a tragedy has happened. Dave Brockie, frontman of GWAR has passed away. GWAR was the band that first discovered Mushroomhead and brought them on their first big tour. As well as Mushroomhead, GWAR has helped countless other bands get their start in their 30 years of pure grinding entertainment. Hatebreed and Lamb of God are just two off of the top of my head. So lets morn and rejoice for the Metal legend that has decided to leave this earth and return back to his home planet. R.I.P. Oderus Urungus - you will be missed.
