Over the course of the last 8 months or so now, Ive read a variety of comments and concerns from an assortment of town officials regarding the dissatisfaction and frustration of commentary, opinions and quality of information provided on social media, (Facebook) with respects to the business of the Town. Nancy, myself, Rosemary and Steve Jeffries, and Les Elder do the best we can to provide updates on local current events, news, local business advertising. We provide free and courteous forums for all Milton residents to inform, discuss, self educate, organize, and become active within the community. We promote volunteerism and activism and encourage people to do what their talents allow to make this town a better place to live at the least expense. And we do this FOR FREE. Meanwhile, certain town board members and department heads grieve, complain and mutter amongst themselves AND ON RECORD over the terrible inconvenience of having to explain their actions and comments to those they serve while SIMULTANEOUSLY asking for volunteers, seeking public guidance and input, and general support for the decisions they have already made. You cant have it both ways, gentlemen.
