Over the last few days, Roads Policing officers detected a relatively inexperienced driver travelling at 127 miles per hour. To make matters worse it was minus two degrees! Three weeks prior to this another officer detected a vehicle travelling at 138 miles per hour. Neither was given a speeding ticket. These speeds were so high that both drivers have been reported for prosecution through the Courts. Some people reading this might be impressed by these speeds, but the fact remains that driving at more than twice the legal limit is irresponsible and reckless.
