Over the last few weeks Ann Warrick and I have been asked to take 100s of dogs that may other wise be put to sleep if we can not find a home. We simply do not have the money or foster homes available to take them all, but we have taken in a grand total of 9 dogs that were all due to be put to sleep simply because they had no where to go. The severity of the situation of unwanted dogs is at an all time high and neglected and abused dogs are being dumped in their 100s at this time of year, ready for the scum bag owners to get a puppy for Christmas. We are left to pick up the mess, and although we can not save them all, we can save some! We may not be able to change the world, but we have changed the world of every single one of these dogs and that helps me to sleep at night.
