Over the last few years, and notably this past twelve months- Ive become fascinated with an appreciation for what surrounds me. It is because I have completely let go of the notion of a deity and become a secular humanist in my beliefs. Since realising that not my Catholic God, nor any other organised religious or spiritual God, magically casted everything in to existence, Im in awe of evolution. And nature. And trees. And the air. I feel connected to the earth and this world in a way that was not possible whilst believing in God.
