Over the next few weeks I’m taking a break from being on the Ideal airwaves while I work on pushing the station forward from behind the scenes. Since Dec 2011 when I first started my own live shows I have had the most incredible learning experience of being on the Radio and spent around 400 hours in the hot seat live on air. Little did I realise when I started this station (primarily to help get the roster of DJs that I had at that time more gigs) that I would fall in love with being on air myself, so much so, that I found my happiest times are while playing music and chatting shit to the underground on-line world on air. It’s lucky I did as otherwise I very much doubt Ideal Clubworld would be here at all, as with this new great passion I had found, came the hardest job I have ever undertaken with it. The roller-coaster that it has been over the last few years has been intense in the extreme, but I have learnt so much and have found myself rich in the real love that it has bought to me and to those that have shared it with me, whatever small or large part they have played, whether they be a listener for a day, or a DJ in the team, it’s made a difference to peoples lives already and for that am I am very proud of it, and it is this pure love that has continued to drive me onwards and upwards… I’m not one to rest on my laurels, and having learnt so much, experienced the highs and lows of building a real Radio channel from the ground up, it’s now necessary for me to take a small hiatus from being on air so I can concentrate and focus on taking the Ideal Clubworld up another gear and to a level that it can have an even greater impact on the dance music world that I always intended it to do. Over the next month I’ll be rescheduling and working with the resident team on their shows, booking in the live broadcasts with DJs like Eats Everything, and Darius Syrossian to name a few and special guest events from the biggest and best DJs studios. I’ll be finalising the Judges and prizes for the launch of a brand new DJ competition, starting a fundraising campaign, working on design and different technology and for the first time in a year I’ll be scouting to find 7 new resident DJS who fit the bill and have what it takes to become Ideal and complete the DJ dream team to launch us into 24hour programming for summer 2014. I’d like to take this opportunity to THANK from the bottom of my heart, each and everyone of you that have supported me and my DJS over the last few years, to all those listeners and viewers that have shared the love of the Ideal Clubword and virtually danced, laughed and sung along with is in the Ideal virtual world I am humbly grateful to you all, I will miss you so much while I’m not on air, but with your continued support and love for our music community and all things Ideal, I’ll be back soon with a bigger and better entertainment channel for us all.
