Over the passed few days we have had some pretty spectacular lion sightings - yesterday morning we were greeted at 04h30 with the roaring of the two Black Rhino boys that hang out in the western part of the park - they were moving through past the lodge so we couldnt spend too much time with them - in the afternoon we could spend a whole lot of time with the central females and their whole brood - we had seen them in the morning but they were far off - and as luck would have it - they came to the road just as we were passing by - and they just laid down and spent an hour and a half entertaining all the vehicles in the park - the little ones remain as cute as ever but staying very close to mom - we are happy to see that the young male is still well and has a full, full tummy - the two big black rhino boys that spend most of their time in the center of the park now were close buy which made the young boy a bit nervous - eventually he laid down in-between all the cubs and moms for protection - the cubs were getting up to no good bothering their moms - trying to suckle but eventually snuggling up to them as it got dark - a beautiful way to end the day
