Over the past few hours, posts and updates with the caveat about ebola hit my wall as I scroll downward. At about 5:20am, a cousin of mine was the first that called. I tossed the phone to my ear and heard: goodmorning brother Caleb. Please, bath with warm salty water and drink a little of salt water before 7am today. He didnt even wait to get my response and switched off. I guess message delivered he must have thought. Few seconds afterwards came series of calls from Adaugo, Jane, Mike, Okey, Chioma, Ayoola, Chi-chi etc., saying the same thing. Hmm... All thanks to you dear friends. I felt the concern some people have for me when with the tone of their voices, I deciphered a passionate appeal. A caller almost made me break with the way she spoke. Thanks again dear friends. However, one begins to wonder at the veracity of this prescription against ebola but at the same time, do you blame them? Well, to me, I do not blame their judgment. The situation has reached an alarming stage and one is not taken aback if weird measures to curb the escalating nature of the virus is employed. My position is trite on this. Nothing stops anyone, and I mean anyone, from trying out this traditional way of preventing the virus. I advise same and in fact called my love to observe same. However, over here in this side of the divide, whatever is born of God overcomes the world of ebola. Ekaaro o! Bawo ni ore mi?
