Over the past several days since the death of comedic legend Joan Rivers, I have read headlines such as, Joan Rivers is now playing Heaven, and endless comments from people who knew her like, she is in a better place and she is now at peace. The FACT is Joan Rivers was a non-practicing Jew, who by her own words had rejected Christianity and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That means the moment Joan Rivers took her last breath, she was NOT telling God jokes, playing Heaven, or at peace in a better place. Sadly, like ALL who reject faith in Christ Joan Rivers was eternally separated from God her Creator because of her sins and is in the never-ending torment of hell! Please let me help those of you who are planning on sending me emails that it is not up to me to tell a person they are going to heaven or hell. It is not me who is stating this, it is GOD in the book He authored called the Bible! God, not Bill Keller, clearly tells us that those who have accepted Christ by faith and thus cleansed from their sins will be eternally with God in Heaven, and those who have rejected Christ by faith and thus die in their sins will be eternally separated from God in Hell. If there was ever a place and time to preach the Gospel it was at the Jewish Temple in Yew York where the funeral service for Joan Rivers was held Sunday. It was a typical celebration by people who have embraced the lies of this world and rejected the Truth of the Gospel.
