Over the past two weeks we have dealt with some fairly difficult parables. We have looked at the idea that many Christians, though saved, will suffer loss when they meet Christ. We learned last week that many who think they are sheep are actually goats and lost without Christ. How do we know for sure? How can we be certain? This morning, we are not doing anything fancy but simply taking a test. 2 Cor 13:5-5 Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus is in you — unless, of course, you fail the test? Come worship with us at First Southern Baptist Church - Dodge City. Worship begins at 10 am. The confidence of authentic assurance is a wonderful gift of God. There will be a short business meeting right after worship followed by a meal provided by the deacons and their wives.
