Over the semester, this course has taught me a lot about food as a whole - what to eat, what not to eat, and all about the people who make the food available. Mindful Eating isnt just knowing what youre eating, rather its about knowing where your food came from, how it was grown/raised, and what all went into it before it arrived on your plate. I have learned a lot about the major companies and how they treat their animals and well, lets just say it wasnt a pretty sight. However, I have also learned a lot about nutrition and food labels and determining how much of what our bodies actually need. The greatest thing about this course was probably all the different foods we got to make, taste, and share with our peers. Mindful Eating was definitely a great course and Id recommend it to anyone.
