Over the weekend, I celebrated my third birthday in comedy. I was in Portland, which has quickly become my home-away-from-home, amongst friends and performing for audiences that make every day of this feel like not-the-worst idea. Im taping an album in Denver in three weeks and I have an ad where I do psychology and slap-hands at a professional sports person that airs during the kick-off game tonight. Three years ago I was high-fiving myself and dancing because I was going to host a midnight show on Sundays at iO West and I thought that was the best thing that would ever happen to me. That mightve been dumb, but it turns out I wasnt wrong. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who put me on stage, shared a mic, drove me, let me crash, put me on a podcast, or pulled the gun from my mouth and replaced it with gin. LA is a brutal place and doing comedy on top of that seems like a prank you play on yourself, so for those friends and super-friends that make this possible, STOP ENABLING (but also thanks like for realsies)
