Over the weekend, an intrepid group set out to recreate the journey Henry David Thoreau documented in his famous book, The Maine Woods, to celebrate its 150th anniversary. Many things have changed since then, but quite a bit of scenery probably looks much the same. Its a bit outside the Bethel area, but we are all a part of the Maine woods. Our members Mahoosuc Guide Service and New England Outdoor Center have helped plan and execute this amazing trip - follow along from now until June 1 at #150Thoreau.
