Over time Ive heard a ton of opinions about the posthumous release - TopicsExpress

Over time Ive heard a ton of opinions about the posthumous release Sketches for My Sweetheart the Drunk, ranging from its brilliant; to it sounds like hed lost his way musically; to it was disrespectful to J. Buckley to have released that album. It may have been disrespectful. Purely selfishly speaking, however, Im glad it was released. To me its a snapshot of a musician in process, with a range of finished and unfinished ideas. To me, thats inspiring and valuable. I love the lyrics on the songs on Sketches. And yes, I think the songs are brilliant. Even the ones that sound the most rough. But duh, youd expect me to say that, right? Anyway: https://youtube/watch?v=4GAq_oHPXto
