Overhead Traffic Lights on N2 Cllr Anthony Connaghan welcomes the installation of the new overhead traffic lights on the N2/North Rd adjacent the Statoil Garage. These lights were long overdue and unfortunately it took a tragic death of a local woman to highlight the danger at this pedestrian crossing. Council officials and public representatives dont normally know local matters as well as local people so its up to everyone to play their part in highlighting similar dangers and bringing them to the attention of those who can implement changes.
